Lately, I've been seeing a lot of "What I Wore Today"-type blogs. Those are always cool to look at, but it's not really my bag... not yet anyway.
No offense to all those bloggers, but lately all I see are repeats of the same outfit:
- Loose top of some sort (shirt or dress) that is black, white, cream, beige... you get the picture
- Belt or jacket to rein in all that fabric
- Skinny pants/jeans or leggings
- Chunky black heels
I guess it just annoys me to see one thousand iterations of a supposedly subversive outfit. I hope no one takes this to mean that I think I have better fashion sense than these bloggers, because that's not my point at all. My point is, really, that we need something new!
