Snack or abs?

Should I do my abs or simply enjoy a snack like this?
Tough decision...

Debería hacer mis ejercicios y abdominales o simplemente disfrutar de un snack como este?
Pues menuda decisión tan difícil!

Make-up Artist Magazine: Toni Malt Feature :) Yuppie Yay Yay

I have been reading MAKE-UP ARTIST magazine for years, paying special attention to their coverage on FX-makeup trying to figure out how to incorporate some of those skills into my fashion work.

I was so very honored when my booker told me that one of their editors had sent an interview request wanting to include me in his feature "Make-up Around the World Tour".

Wow! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Make-Up Artist Magazine!!!! I am super happy to be part of your incredible magazine!

Latest Photoshoot: Zahrat Al Khaleej Middle East Magazine - 70s Revival

The last three months I have been blessed with jobs, loads of advertising (thanks to my amazing booker Rosh from my agency bareface), beautiful editorials shot by some amazing photographers and lots of interviews.

Amongst all this I have had yet again the chance to work on an editorial shoot with one of my favorite models french beauty Alexandra P @ bareface. We shot for Zahrat Al Khaleej, one of the largest weekly magazines in the Middle East who produce a fashion issue twice a year. Our story shot by my good friend photographer Billie Muller, revisited the 70s.

HOW TO 70s inspired Look
I wanted to capture the 70s in a modern way. The hair was waved with a tiny curling iron of 1/4 inch, twisting the sections as they were curled around the iron. A deep part was then gelled into place with section clips allowing it to dry into place.

I used RCMA foundation thinned out with MAC Strobe cream applied with a Beauty Blender and set with Make Up For Ever HD Powder (one of my favorites).

For the eyes I used a mixture of MAC Pro Paintsticks as a base and eyeshadows to add depth; finished off with my all-time favorite Illamasqua Liquid Metal in their gold "Solstice" to add dimension just above the lashline and the inner corner of the eyes. I used the same Liquid Metal on the cupid's bow of the lip (be careful when applying your Liquid Metal on the lip as it will mix with your lipstick which does't look so nice, make sure your brush is tiny to avoid this).

Mac Pro Paint Sticks in "Pure White", " Landscape Green" and "French Violet"
My Mac Pro Paint Sticks palette after last week's editorial shoot in the desert at 40C+. Oh so sad!
To further enhance the eyes I used a set of "Girls Aloud" strip lashes on top and MAC single short lashes at the bottom outer corner.

TAKE A PEEK Behind The Scenes

Thank you Billie and Alex for these wonderful photos!

Better Late...

So there I was, getting ready for Shoe Fair 2011, and I somehow managed to back-burner a few posts that I had been working on. Here is one of them, long overdue, for the fantastic Ariadne Heels from SLink. Besides the obviously unique shape and texturing, these heels are beautifully made and perfect for inspiring an outfit.

I am also wearing the recently released PXL Gaia Skin, my new 'go to' favorite. I love the sweet lips, soft brows, and overall young looking face. I threw in a few more interesting clothing items and accessories to finish my look, and the hair from bOON, a loose high bun hairpiece completes this almost forgotten post.

SLurls and stuff are in the credits, be sure and look for the SLink Ariadne Heels by Siddean Monroe, I may be late, but these shoes are worth a closer look!

The Stuff;

Shoes - SLink, Ariadne Heels, Blue.

Skin - PXL Gaia, Sunkissed (SE DEB C2 FR).
Tattoo - PXL Gaia, Sunkissed hairbase.
Hair - bOON, YNO421, Chocolate.
Eyes - PXL Soul Eyes, Light Blue (s).

Outfit - Mon Tissu, Gathered Frills Blouse, Cream. Maitreya, Bubbleskirt (part of dress), Black w/ color change belt (tinted to match).
Accessories - Armidi, Towanda Bangles, White (tinted to match). MRM, Wood Bangle, Black. ORTA, Stella Clutch, Pool. Paper Couture, Diamond Curl Earrings.

If The Shoe Fits...

A few of my fave breakfasts

Avocados and toasts? yes please.
Tostadas con aguacate untado? Sí por favor!

Olive oil toast with some banana.
Tostadas con aceite de oliva y un poco de plátano.

Cheese creme with strawberries.
QUeso untado con fresas.

Pancakes with cinnamon fried bananas.
Pancakes con plátano frito a la canela.

And of course, croissants.
There's nothing more delicious than biting the chocolate croissant Mr Octopus buys for himself every sunday for breakfast.
PS: do I need to mention he buys 2 now, just so I can do it with no regrets?

Y por supuesto, croissants.
No hay nada más delicioso que pegarle un mordisco al croissant de chocolate que el sr Pulpo compra cada domingo.
PD: de hecho ahora compra dos, así todo el mundo está contento!
