Picasa is one of the main image uploading services today online owned by Google. Currently, the system has limits of up to 1 GB for sending files to the virtual albums. Users of the new Google social network Google Plus will be exempt from this limit, and can send pictures and videos without concern about the capacity of the blow account.
Still, there are some constraints on the system. Images larger than 2048 x 2048 pixels will be excluded from the exemption and will count on the limits of 1 GB of Picasa. The same applies to all videos that exceed the 15 minutes.
Picasa users do not have accounts on Google + can only send video with the same duration, but they are all added up to the limit. The size of the images free for those not in the social network is only 800 x 800 pixels, much less than that offered to other users.
Marking in photos
For those who miss the markings of pictures on MySpace and Facebook, Picasa will bring an improvement to Google +. All registrations in the new social network may mark his friends (also registered) to facilitate the location of their profiles in the future.
Purchase space
It is worth noting that Google continues to offer expansion packs available space for photos. For just $ 5 a year, you can buy 5 GB of space. Values grow according to the desired capacity and can reach $ 4,000 (for TB spaces 16).
