Plum Pickings

Donna Flora has a fantastic new home, and I was lucky enough to get a peek at the store just before it was open to the public. It is beautifully laid out making your favorite items even easier to find. The icing on the cake was seeing the latest releases from Squinternet Larnia, a couture inspired collection with outstanding hats, all lined up on mannequins in the centre of the store. I loved the bold color of the Romina Gown and Hat, and the shoes shown in the vendor poster, that I did not recognize.

Lo and behold the shoes are by Adam n Eve, the style is called Samara and the shade is called plum, a rich deep pomegranate color. The shape of the shoes is superb, with a rounded toe and substantially high heel.

StyleCard: Adam n Eve Tia Boots

More Summer Boots! These hot looking boots from Adam n Eve can transcend the conventional Fall and Winter pairings when worn with a more boho casual style. The sensuous high heel and ample fitting zipped leg with suede texture, make for another sexy style from creator Damon Gorilla.

Maitreya's Summer Casuals and Denims are effortless and fun, here the Jean Shorts, Sarong Top and Belt (borrowed from Maitreya Boyfriend Jeans) are playful and comfy. Accessories like the new Sarayi Painted Hoops from Zaara, and other hits of hot color round out my StyleCard.

Who Me?

Well it happens, footwear is dropped on me in folders and some days I get multiple folders, others none at all, so when Adam n Eve creator Damen Gorilla passed me the folder marked 'Adam n Eve Boots - Anessa' I simply assumed he was handing the footwear out to multiple reviewers and had named the folders so he could keep track of his deliveries. It was not until I saw the Fashion Planet feed this morning that it dawned on me that the boots were actually named Anessa (brilliant choice btw), so how could I not walk around in them today all happy-like?

So here they are, a perfectly nice ankle boot with an oversized buckle for the all important fashion forward look (I have it on good authority that these are a RL sensation by a very big name in footwear at the moment, so I would not be surprised to see a few variations popping up). The Adam n Eve boots come in multiple shades of suede with contrast white piping, and great neutral leathers with the added special versions with red/black mixed combinations. I wore mine with this fantastic new set from Bijou, I just can't stay out of that place! I simply added the multi-strand black pearls from Paper Couture and a favorite bangle from Fresh Baked Goods along with my new hair from TRUTH (on sale now!). I never get tired of that red and black combination.

Skai High

These, the latest from Adam n Eve, called Skai Boots they really get my feet excited for Fall... oh yay, boot weather is coming! Damen Gorilla sent me an peek at these early on, and there was some instant attraction. I am a big fan of the way these are textured, not over the top shininess, but a nice subtle leather sheen to compliment these knee high babies. And you know I love that stylish buckle that give these an almost equestrian edge. The Skai boots come in 8 colors, wearing the black here, but trust me the shades are terrific and well worth a visit to the Adam n Eve shoe department for closer inspection.

New Shoes from Adam And Eve

Damen Gorilla from Adam and Eve sent me these new sculpted shoes to try out and I tried them on right away. I think these loafer style shoes are quite stylish and they are available in 6 colours, including Blue, plum, black, Chocolate, Grey and Brick.

These are the black version and as you can see they have a nice chunky sole and a detailed texture that gives the impression that they would be super comfortable to wear.


Due to the assortment of colours available you could easily combine these with many outfits depending on what mood you are in. Its a great thing to see mens footwear getting some focus and the designs are improving as time goes on. The shoes also have a prim resizer script built in so they are easy to resize to match your avatar with a minimum of fuss.

C'mere Stud!

I quickie but a goody! Another fabulous release from Damen Gorilla at Adam n Eve, these... aptly titled C'mere slides are sexy, high and studded with a peep toe. They come with both a black and a silver studded version, come in multiple colours and are a fun sort of cross-over shoe that can be worn with an ultra sexy mini skirt or less revealing casual looks.

Also, and sorry for the late notice, Damen tells me that the Lotus & City Sandals have been reduced to L$100 per pair ( L$800 MultiBuy) Today only......2am pdt/slt (10am bst/11am CET) 8th July 2008 til 24 hours later!

Maple Sugarr

Okay, I just couldn't resist that title... because yay! It's Canada Day, and I am one of those Canadian girls! But also, Damen Gorilla made me smile yesterday when he sent me the sassy as all heck Sugarr Wedges. Get it? Maple Sugarr! Ooh, I am too clever sometimes.

These luscious shiny red wedges were a must wear for me today, and they do come in 12 colors... but I was feeling a bit patriotic, so here are the Scarlet and the Snow White. Please be sure and take a trip to Adam n Eve today to take a look at the full colour range. The details are really nice, I love the contrast of the fabric straps and the shiny wedges, cute buckle details too.
