לא פשוט לכתוב בלוג. הימים האחרונים היו עמוסים ביותר וכך הכתיבה בבלוג נאלצה להמתין מעט על אף הצורך העז שלי לעדכן. אני בטוחה שכל בלוגר מכיר את ההרגשה המטרידה כאשר הבלוג שלו לא עודכן כבר כמה ימים.
את המטפחת קיבלתי לאחרונה במתנה מסבתא שלי, שנים רבות לאחר שהיא קיבלה אותה מסבא שלי כשחזר מאפריקה.

על המטפחת יש הדפס של אריה, פיל ונמר אך בכל דרך בה קשרתי את המטפחת ההדפסים נעלמו אל תוך הקפלים. ובכל זאת אני אוהבת אותה מאוד בזכות ההדפסים משום שאני מרגישה שהם מיועדים בעיקר לעיני הלובש וזה תמיד משמח אותי בבגד. אז גיליתי לכם את סודה של המטפחת שלי, מקווה שזה מהווה פיצוי הולם להאטה הזמנית בתכיפות העדכונים.

It's not easy to write a blog. The last couple of days were very busy and so the writing in my blog had to wait. I'm sure that every fashion blogger knows the unsettling feeling when he didn't update his blog on time.
Recently I received this scarf as a gift from my grandmother, many years after she received it from my grandfather when he returned from Africa. The scarf has a print of a lion, elephant and a tiger but in any way I tried to tie it the prints disappeared in between the folds. Yet I love it very much because of those prints which I feel are mostly made to the eye of the owner who wears it, and that's always makes me happy about clothes. So I've told you the secret of my kerchief, hope it can be a fine compensation for the temporary slowdown in the frequency of updates.

Pink & Shiny

את השמלה קניתי בתאילנד לפני שנה וחצי. במושגים תאילנדיים היא היתה מאד יקרה, משהו כמו 3 לילות בהוסטל אם זכרוני אינו מטעני ולכן התלבטתי זמן רב אם לקנות אותה או לוותר. מאוד שמחה שברגע האחרון התעשתתי והבנתי שבמושגים ישראליים היא בעצם די זולה ולכן מוטב לקנות אותה מאשר להתחרט (ככה זה בחו"ל כשרואים משהו יפה צריך לקנות כי אחר כך מצטערים ואין דרך חזרה...).
חזרתי ארצה מאושרת מהקנייה המוצלחת (ומהטיול המוצלח גם כן) ולבשתי את השמלה, אך אז צצה לה בעיה! השמלה פתוחה מאוד מקדימה ולכן מחייבת טופ כלשהו אבל היא פתוחה מאוד גם מאחורה ולכן כל דבר ששמתי מתחת לשמלה נראה מגושם וכעור. כשכבר הכל נראה אבוד נזכרתי בבגד הגוף משיעורי הריקוד, גם מחזיק, גם מכסה מקדימה וגם פתוח מאחור. הפתרון המושלם.

ועוד אנקדוטה לסיום, כשאני והחבר שלי הלכנו לצלם מצאנו את החלון הזה שנראה לנו כמו רקע הולם לשמלה. מיד עם הגעתנו צעק עלינו האיש שגר מאחורי החלון וביקש שלא נעמוד על יד חלונו. אנחנו כמובן המשכנו בשלנו (רק יותר בשקט) כי היה משהו בחלון העקום והאפרורי הזה שמצא חן בעינינו למרות התנגדותו המרירה של האדון (שאת קולו שמענו ואת פניו לא ראינו). כעבור זמן מה הוא קרא אלינו בשנית אך הפעם התנצל ואמר שלא הבחין בתחילה כי אנחנו מחפשים לוקיישן לצילומים, אם כך זה בסדר, אמר... משונה, לא?

I bought this dress in Thailand a year and a half ago. In Thai terms it was very expensive, something like 3 nights at a hostel if I am not mistaking, thus I thought over and over whether to buy it or give up. I'm very happy that at the last moment I pooled myself together and realized that in Israeli terms it's actually quite cheap. Better to buy it now than to regret it later.

I came back to Israel happy from my great shopping (and the wonderful trip, of course), wore my dress just to realize there is a problem! The dress has a wide decolletage and therefore requires something underneath but since there's an open back nothing could fit. When it all seems lost I remembered I have a bodysuit from my dance classes that holds, covers and still has an open back. The perfect solution.

And another anecdote, when I went with my boyfriend to take the pictures we found this window which seems like an appropriate background for the dress. Shortly after our arrival the man who lives behind the window has shouted at us and asked not to stand by his window. Of course, we continued because we found that broken dirty window pretty in it's way. After a while he called again but this time he apologized and said he had not noticed at first that we were shooting... Isn't it strange?
