כשגיליתי שתצוגת האופנה של קום איל פו תתקיים בחירייה, הייתי מעט סקפטית. מה יעוללו בנות קום איל פו הפעם, שאלתי את עצמי בחשש. כשהגעתי לחלל היפה של מרכז המבקרים הכולל מדשאה רחבת ידיים ואולם סגור ומצוחצח היה ברור שזה המיקום המושלם לתצוגה. החלל המאורך ומוצף האור התאים בדיוק לבגדים, רובם בעלי גוונים כהים כמצופה מהמותג. הקולקציה אשר שואבת השראה מהעולם הצבאי ועולם נשפי המסכות הונציאנים (כך על פי הקומוניקט), משדרת נועם ויחד עם זאת גם חוזק בעוד ההשראות נותרות לרב כצל מרומז. בהתאם למגמה העכשווית, נראו פריטים רבים שמשדרים נקיון אלגנטי, חפים מקישוטים ודיטיילים מיותרים באופן שמיטיב עמם ויוצר מראה מתוחכם ומלא שיק. בין הפריטים הללו ניתן היה לראות חצאיות חלקות באורך הכה נכון של מתחת לברך (אורך שאני בהחלט הולכת לאמץ לחורף הקרוב), קרדיגנים משוחררים ומכנסיים צרים ומאריכים.

הפריטים האדומים ששולבו זה עם זה הזכירו לא מעט מראות ממסלולי התצוגות בניכר (וגם הזכירו לי כמה הצבע הזה נחשק) והסטיילינג המעולה שכלל תסרוקות מנופחות וגבוהות, משקפי שמש א-לה ג'ון לנון וגרביים שמטפסים אל עבר הקרסול תרם לתחושה הזו.
וכמו על מנת לחברנו שוב לקרקע, מיד לאחר התצוגה הוזמנו לסיור באתר האשפה. חוץ מהנוף המדהים (כן כן) שניתן לראות מראש הר הזבל הגדול בישראל, ההסברים והעובדות המרתקות שהוצגו בסיור, מצדיקים הגעה מיוחדת.

StyleCard: comme il faut & Styles of edo

A first offering from the talented Moire Georgette who confessed to me that the new Adriana Sandals, released under the comme il faut label, are the first she's felt good enough about to put on the shelves. The Adriana come in both light and dark variations, with some metal accent options available, they are an attractive elegant heel and perfect for the upcoming party season, yes we are thinking of the holidays already!

To really set an elegant tone I borrowed a dress from this weekend's Styles of edo Fashion Show being presented by InStyle Fashion Agency. This rich and satiny Hepburn Dress is irresistible in red with it's oversized back bow and super flowy skirt. Just a perfect party dress and one of many that will be showed off on Saturday (see Invitation below.) Hair is ETD Gwen, which is a great dressed up ponytail style and accessories are from Shiny Things, the Everyday Gems Garnet Set, one of the first accessory sets I ever bought for myself in SL, and I still wear it often.
