So it being a new year I have decided to be a new kind of woman. I've changed my signature scent (However I am still keeping my old signature scent for night). And today kiddies I chopped my luscious locks into long bangs!!! Ayumie my hairdresser never fails me or anyone. She does everything AMAZING and is licensed in any hair specialized trade you can think of from here to Japan. I recommend her services highly. All you faux blonds out there in NYC this chick can paint you a mean beautiful shade of platinum and keep your hair way conditioned like no one else!!! The New Years Resolution Goals!!!

So this year has been one long growing pain for me. But I am now a stronger unit because of all of it and am finally at a point to see how necessary much of that pain and overcoming some insecurities has made me realize just how much more capable I am. Nothing like standing up to fear in the face and punching it out....So here are some Angel Lust resolutions...



1. Double the orders monthly they have been supporting me and paying my bills which is great for something that started and accessory line less than a year ago.
2. Get more wholesale orders.
3.Go to California to introduce the line in person to buyers
4. Throw more fancy trunk shows in fancy boutiques with catered cupcakes!!!
5. Finally get an awsome kick ass E commerce site up for ANGEL LUST...
6. More Gossip Girl appearances!!!
7. Get some headbands on the red carpet with Julia Allison wearing them on her pretty little head,get a mention on her blog and then some.
8. Work on some more little accessories.
9. Make some exclusive dresses just for me and if someone likes em that much they can get a private made to measure order.
10. Find a backer
11. Collaboration with other cool nice enthusiastic un-narcissistic designers.



Now for my personal non designer resolutions....I feel like I'm writing a personal business plan for my living situation.

1. More working out,more yoga!!!
2. keeping a cleaner house.
3. Getting a working studio in Brooklyn to make my designer mess in.
4. Learning how to cook more and actually doing it
5. Being more green and continuing to be thrifty.
6. Setting aside my Sundays for all day beauty rituals,and reading
7. Going on a vacation for a rejuvenating rest.
8. Attending every NYC show Paige Wood plays at.
9. Attending every designer showcase Erna Leon throws,she is so talented and the sweetest.
10. Splurging on a Mandate of heaven summer sun suit. FYI the lovely Carissa now has an online store for her original creations...

So first off I need to thank my darling indie rock princess PAIGE WOOD for dragging my ass out into last night's rain to hear her sing some improve at Loving Cup all the way into Brooklyn. I started chatting up a storm with the bartender a sweet boy named Lucas who ended up knowing about 8 people and an x boyfriend in common. And he played some old tunes by our old pals The Witnesses,and he introduced me to the my new favorite band MACK WINSTON AND THE REFLECTIONS!!! This band has the drummer Joey Valentine formerly the star drummer of THE STAR SPANGLES and guitar player/singer Darien aka MACK WINSTON of THE WITNESSES. I'm currently hooked on their song "Manipulator" I recommend you watch the video here if only for the sexy chick in a hot dress strolling around.

Now that I've ranted on about the LA scene let's get back to NYC!!! The main reason why I went out was to see my southern dolly songstress strum her guitar and add some improv to her set list of old songs,current,and covers. This was the best Halloween in 3 years. Everything from my costume obsessed blondie dragging me out 2 hours into Long Island to get a sexy dress to Paige Wood's carriage house bonfire and disco light include (I love this indie rock princess)...

But we headed off tho the Box and got a gentlemen to buy us like 80 bucks worth of fine campaign while burlesque shows played on stage in smoke costume and sex.

Ending the night at Schillers on the LES for tres decadent Bananas Splits fit for Marie Antoinette. Take a look and envy...Send us picks of you all decked to kill!!!

My Mention in The New York Post!!!

Sept.9th I got a mention in the NY Post regarding Gossip Girl Night's.

To complement its bridge show last week, Fashion Indie is planning a mass "Gossip Girl" viewing this week at Pop Lounge in Midtown. Kristen May, whose accessories have appeared on the show, will be on hand to show off her creations to hundreds of viewers.

SHOP GRAND OPENING!!!

My favorite party so far...I Love Shop and all the SHOP keepers and every designer in the store. I look forward to a very promising future with SHOP to come!!!





Here is a video of the grand opening of IloveShop.com now located on 94 Grand Street in the heart of the Lower East Side. There where pink miniature cupcakes with heart shaped frosting and bottled champagne!!! A slew of customers. There is a lot to look forward to with a much bigger space of SHOP.In the future you can expect little local designer trunk shows with equally fabulous parties that will attract a slew of fashionista customers no doubt. Angel Lust Sponsor Free Swag Bag

In true indie fashion I've take the past week in putting together a sponsor free goody bag for GOSSIP GIRL NIGHT'S debut at POP BURGER...This is a free participation effort at no cost has any company paid me to advertise. I'm moving up and am inviting you to come with me.In an effort to keep the spirit of young designers and small businesses downtown and alive I am in the process of arranging 25 VIP bags for the Press. I want to drive the uptown girls and boys downtown (hopefully with their black cards).


My experience with the press is,today's kids seem to only know what is cool if they are told,so let's tell them what is. We are at a point in time post "Sex in the City" error when designers are throwing things to the stylist to place on set. Major brands are pitching things to the writers to get their 15 seconds hoping it leads to fifteen million dollars in sales. Two bags are already set aside at the request of 2 magazine editors.

I was even contacted by AZU for Wear Your Music guitar string friendship bracelets composed of famous guitarist broken guitar strings ie. Slash,Keith Richards,Avril Levigne. A portion of the profit goes to Music Cares,they are included in "FASHION ROCKS",the idea sure does!!!


PR wonder-girl Lee at SABON,has helped with this squeaky clean press op by arranging heart shaped SABON soaps in the color pink to sit inside the swag!!!

I feel as if the idea of this blog is finally beginning to do what it was meant. I wanted my brand to be recognized and associated with other cool artist and businesses while doing a good deed (THANK YOU soooo much WearYourMusic.org)...Not only is having something so Rock N'Roll in my girly little bag soooo "Angel Lusty" but it's totally a hot good deed!!!

OMFG Angel Lust on GOSSIP GIRL!!!!

Naturally my bows had to find their ways on to the heads of the GOSSIP GIRL'S cast. Well that and Eric Damon has excellent taste and worked under legendary style icon Patricia Field for Sex in the City...All things are good when it has to do with gossip,in this case at least. I have a few screen stills here but stay tuned for more to come!!!
