Zip Up Your Kalnins

Nice to see a new release from Kalnins, the shoes are as always well crafted, with color changeable individual parts and 2 metal choices. The latest, these strapped up Yolanda heels, are a nice summer shoe that will look great with your edgier favorites. My only bone to pick with Kalnins is the lack of texture/detail on the actual foot, but in the case of the Yolanda shoe vey little of the main part of the foot shows through, it is only more visible around the toes.


To enjoy some fresh color I decided to wear this super hot sculpted biker vest from Indyra Originals. The Bon Charme Vest has some great over the top metal trims and you can select gold or silver accents in every one of the available shades, and there are many to choose from. My other color hit comes from the awesome Stella Clutch from ORTA, I am rarely a fat-packer when I shop but these clutches came in so many yummy colors I just had to get them all.

StyleCard: Indyra Originals

A friend out on a shopping trip decided to send me a TP and drag me along yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised to land at Indyra Originals and was promptly greeted by these great looking Chasseur Boots from the Coquette Noir line of footwear. Always impressed to see designers creating both clothes and footwear, Indyra certainly excels at this. I started drooling over this adorable jeans & top set called Davenport, conveniently it matches up with the boot colour perfectly. (note: I added an underwear layer and custom tinted it to hide that little bit of tummy)

The boots themselves are a great suede folded top boot, with fun details like buttons and leather cording tied around the ankle. I loved the rich red shade and skinny-mini wooden stiletto heel. The outfit is a whole bunch of awesome, sexy slim fitting jeans that come in a variation to wear with the aforementioned boots and a flirty ruffled sleeveless blouse and wrist cuff. I added this great new hair from Novocaine (that I grabbed at Hair Fair) and a bracelet from UnTone to complete the look. (click image to see large.)

Footwear Expo Update: Indyra Originals

Time for another 'On Your Toes' first timer! Welcome Indyra Originals, whose booth at the Expo really grabbed my attention - especially this huge platform wedge sandal called Coquette Noir Sunset. It comes in a nice assortment of colours, and the height gives your legs and unmistakably long look. Love the golden nail heads in the wooden wedge... sexy! Make sure you take a look at all the great styles Indyra Seigo has created... some great stuff. I also noticed a white hot freebie tucked into her booth. :))
