G Field: Casual Perfection

G Field is predictable, you can always count on something great from designer Cerberus Noel at Shoe Fair. If you are familiar with G Field you will know them for great style, fantastic color choices, and very easy to wear affordable footwear. The new release at this year's fair are called 'Vilda' Open Boots, a creative take on a great pump with embellished wrapped ankle. A feather accent pushes these in the direction of boho chic, but it can also be removed if you want a simpler look.

The shoes consist of two attachments, a chunky platform leather pump wrapped in a fabric sleeve, and an ankle portion trimmed in leather and finished with leather laces tied in a neat bow, the optional feather charm detail is designed to complement the shoes, and the feathers vary depending on the shade of shoes you select. Decent Exposeur.

The awesomeness that is RubyStarlight Writer came through with something very special for me today, I simply don't know how she finds the time, but she does! I had made a special request for a couples pose inspired by a photo I had found, and sure enough, Ruby did an amazing job with it! If you haven't visited her Exposeur Shop yet, or tried any of her fantastic modeling poses, you are in for a treat. This one is tentatively titled 'That Shoe Girl and... Casanova?', I am not sure if it will be for sale, but I adore it, for obvious reasons.


Other things I adore today... these fairly new Short Lace-Up Boots from G Field. These are exactly the type of boots that can work with modern fashion and vintage inspired looks, the classic lace up boot comes in an beautiful assortment of soft shades, they also come in black (seen here) and white versions that offer enhanced color change features, like the sole, eyelets, laces and sides. StyleCard: G Field at Footwear Expo

I have to admit to a little bit of boot love for G Field. Designer Cerberus Noel has offered up two completely new styles for the fair, one of which is the Long Fur Cuff Boot, a boot which I admit I thought was cute on the vendor, but once I got it on it was much much more. It seems to be a perfect combination of soft scrunched suede and fluffy fur topper, accented with a delicate wisp of ribbon. The boot sits on a great chunky platform sole, and is available in a number of color choices.


Not a new release, but newly released in this fun houndstooth pattern, the Figure Pumps, also from G Field, are a classic looking little pump. I really love the little knotted bow on the toe and other smart details. These are very affordable and well worth grabbing a pair (or two). Visit G Field at the Footwear Expo to see all the available colors and patterns. Also keep an eye out for an additional new release, a Ribbon Slingback!
