Canadian born photographer Martin Prihoda lives and works in Mumbai, from where he regularly contributes to Vogue, GQ, Harper's Bazaar and Elle.
He is known for his advanced lighting techniques and teaches a workshop series entitled "Big Lights Far Away", the purpose of which is to help his students take their lighting skills from a advanced amateur level to a professional one.

I first met Martin during his workshop in Dubai in 2010 doing Makeup & Hair for his models, and can only encourage you to book your spot for one of his workshops, the photography students were over the moon with what he was teaching them and moreover he is a really lovely guy to work with and be taught by.
Just a couple of weeks ago he shot the cover for Cosmopolitan India! Check out Martin's behind the scenes video with loads of lighting tips on how to shoot a good magazine cover.
